Twitter

Twitter has recently changed the way they allow users to embed their twitter streams in their web pages, and this has rendered this Acton defunct.

You are advised to visit https://twitter.com/settings/widgets/ and create a widget. Twitter will give you the necessary HTML to paste into your web page.

Sorry about this - Twitter is making a lot of changes to how people acces their data, and this Action looks like it’s going to be one of the casualties. Thankfully, Twitter’s Widget is easy to set up and include in your Freeway web page. Be sure to include all the domains you will be using the widget on in the Domains box on this page - your widget may not work if you don’t!

To embed Twitter’s new code into your Freeway page, you need to copy the code given from their Widget editor:

In Freeway, go to the Insert menu and select the Markup Item... option. A large dialogue window will open. Paste the contents of the clipbioard into it. You should see something like this:

Click the OK button. You will then see a rather unassuming box like this on your Freeway page.

This is your Twitter feed. Size it to fit, and then publish and upload.
